Bike Fitting
Getting your bike properly fit is one of the most important and beneficial steps you can take to improve your riding. Fitting is a major part of the business here at SVCC, not just a sidelight to the bike sales process. We offer several service levels depending on your goals, your starting point, and what type of bike you are getting fit for. You can find all the details by clicking here.
Saddle Demo Program
There's no denying it, finding the right saddle can be a real pain in the you-know-what. We have a collection of 21 demo saddles from Selle Italia, fizik, SMP, Selle Anatomica, Profile, ISM Adamo, and San Marco (including several women's and tri-specific models). You rent a saddle for a small fee and apply half the rental fees to the purchase.

Race Wheel Rental
With one of the most complete Zipp demo collections in the area, we can also help with race wheel rentals. Wheels run from $125 - $160/pair for a weekend, depending on which set you get. Call for more details.
Footbed fitting/molding
The interface between your foot and the bike is where all that power gets transmitted. A quality footbed can make a huge difference in your comfort and efficiency. We've found that the vast majority of cyclists see a lot of benefit from a high quality footbed and we carry Sole moldable footbeds. The $45 price includes trimming the footbed to fit your shoe and heat molding them, if necessary. Most clients find them perfect out of the box. We'll take time to help figure out what is right for you.
Lactate Threshold Testing
We like to say that training is simply riding with purpose. One of the most important pieces of data to ensure you have the right focus for each workout is your threshold heart rate. We have several tests that can determine these numbers so you know exactly how hard to push your body during each workout and stay on the optimal path to improved fitness. The lactate threshold (LT) test costs $65 and is done in the studio, it takes about an hour start to finish and it determines your optimal heart rate training zones.
