Bike Fitting

In financial parlance a proper bike fit is what we'd call a "highly leveraged" investment. Every minute you spend training is more effective when the bike fits properly. We offer two service levels for riders looking to improve their fit, and you can learn more about that by clicking here.

Bike maintenance services

Although bike maintenance is not our primary business we carry a full line of the consumables that most racers need (chains, cassettes, cables, etc.) and with our appointment-only policy we can often get you back on the road or trail with more convenience than other shops. Saddle Demo Program

There's no denying it, finding the right saddle can be a real pain in the you-know-what. We have a collection of seventeen (yes, seventeen) demo saddles from Selle Italia, fizik, SMP and Selle San Marco. For $40 you can take home a saddle and test ride it for a week. If it's not right for you, come back and exchange it for another. You can test every one of the saddles in our collection if necessary. And of course the $40 fee counts toward a saddle purchase once you make your selection.

PowerTap Wheel Demo

Demo a PowerTap system and see what training with power can do for you. We'll install the wheel and CPU then take time to explain how to use it in training as well as how to use the software for post ride analysis, which is a critical step in turning lots of numbers into meaningful information. Cost is $100 and this counts toward the purchase of a PowerTap.

Footbed fitting/molding

The interface between your foot and the bike is where all that power gets transmitted. A quality footbed can make a huge difference in your comfort and efficiency. We've found that the vast majority of cyclists see a lot of benefit from a high quality footbed and we carry Sole moldable footbeds. The $40 price includes trimming the footbed to fit your shoe and heat molding them, if necessary. Some users find them perfect out of the box. We'll take time to help figure out what is right for you. Once you experience the comfort of a good footbed you'll likely be buying them for all your shoes! We don't leave home without them.
