Frames, Wheels, and Components
All bike sales include our Pro-Fit service and we work with you to select each component to perfectly match your riding style and individual tastes. We don't stock built bikes and don't "charge extra" to get the build just the way you want. Handlebars, crank length, gearing, saddle - every last detail on your new bike will be unique, just like you.
Parlee
Few companies have climbed so high in the esteem of riders, pro racers, and enthusiasts as quickly as Parlee. Obsession with performance and a willingness to pull out all the stops in crafting high quality bikes have made Parlee one of the most lusted-for bikes on the market. Their wide range of stock sizes, ability to completely customize, and their fabulous new tri/TT bike are just a few of the reasons SVCC is proud to carry Parlee frames.
Cyfac
Cyfac's story began 25 years ago with its founder Francis Quillon. A former French National Team member and perennial winner of cobbled classics, Francis' true passion was for the equipment carrying him across the slick pave' and wind-blown lanes of his native Tourraine region. He started Cyfac with his wife and their frames quickly gained a reputation for quality, fit, and technology. Every Cyfac is still hand built in the wooded Loire Valley, creating a marriage of passion, cycling heritiage, and technology that we at SVCC will bring together with expert fitting and component selection to produce a one-of-a-kind bike that you'll be proud to ride.
Look
At a time when the market is awash in carbon fiber bikes, sometimes you wonder who the real innovators are. One company with impeccable credentials is Look - their carbon frames were being ridden in the Tour de France 2 decades ago. Look was the first company to develop a full carbon fork and the first to introduce the integrated seat mast that so many copy today.
Lynskey
You may not have heard of Lynskey but you know their history, the Lynskey family founded a little titanium bike company called Litespeed. After selling that company off and taking a few years away from bike building, they are back with one of the sweetest product lineups in town. Their expertise with titanium is unmatched and their paint jobs and frame finishing are jaw-dropping. Choose from an impressive selection of stock frames or go for the full custom treatment.
Wheels
Zipp
No brand is more synonymous with aero race wheels than Zipp, and for good reason. From the mountains and time trials of the Tour de France to the lava fields of Kona, no other wheel brand is seen so often leading the field. With a full line up of clinchers and tubulars, and rim depth options to match any application, Zipp brings an amazing array of technologies to bear on wheel design and manufacturing.
Reynolds
Reynolds has a superb reputation with carbon manufacturing technology and they offer a great selection of wheels, including disk wheels in tubular or clincher, PowerTap upgrade option on all their carbon spoked wheels, and carbon mountain bike wheels that are to die for. The 2009 lineup has gone on a major diet and the '08 wheels were light to start with. Call us to arrange a demo ride.
Other options
If you aren't going to pick a top-shelf aero or ultra-light carbon wheelset, we have a strong preference for custom, handbuilt wheels rather than mid-range "me-too" pre-built wheels. We work with the best builders in the industry and source only the finest components from DT Swiss, Chris King, White Industries, and Sapim to help you find something that is high performance, serviceable, and will last many miles.
Components
Besides the usual selection of Shimano, SRAM, and Campy we like to seek out more unique components to help you build your dream bike. Find out more on our complete list of brands we carry.
Other stuff
We cater to competitors and serious cyclists so we tend to keep in stock the "consumables" that you go through a lot of - cables, chains, cassettes, cleats for your shoes, etc. Our studio hours are built around your busy schedule and are designed to help you with last minute items you need for the weekend. What we don't stock we can usually get within a couple of days.
