Layaway

It's a word that sounds like an anachronism. Some of us recall hearing it when we were kids, shopping with our parents. But did you know layaway programs are making a comeback? And with good reason. Many Americans are realizing (some by choice, some forced by circumstance) that perhaps we should buy things after we have the money to pay for them, not before. To support this imminently sensible trend, SVCC is happy to announce our layaway program. It's really quite simple.

• No fees or additional charges for this program. You simply pay on account, as funds are available, towards that new bike, frame, or wheelset.
• If you change your mind and request a refund BEFORE any parts are ordered, we charge a 5% service fee.
• Once your deposits reach 50% of purchase price, we will confirm final details with you on the purchase and order everything. After this point there are NO REFUNDS - NO EXCEPTIONS.
• If there are long lead time items, we can be flexible and work with you to get those ordered sooner so that once you are paid up, you need not wait. For example, we would order a custom frame once you reach 50% of the frame cost, and not wait to reach 50% of the entire bike cost.
• Once the bike arrives you're free to vistit the studio and drool over it as often as you like until you get it paid for!
• Pay off the purchase as quickly or as slowly as you like - it's entirely up to you.

We can set up an auto-pay program to charge your card a fixed periodic amount, or you can maintain complete control and pay as you like. It's really all about making your life easier and giving you peace of mind in these tough economic times, when we need to be careful with spending AND occasionally treat ourselves to something nice.
