Camps and Clinics

Get faster, faster

There are few things we enjoy more than helping people have more fun on their bikes. Whether you are looking to prep for a long racing season, or just tackle a few challenges with friends, we offer camps and clinics that will accelerate your knowledge of cycling, jump start your fitness, and show you a great time in Northern California.

Each of our camps is unique and is designed with a specific purpose, but they all share a few things in common:

  • Transportation to/from airport & hotel.
  • If you rent a car for your stay, we'll take your bike at the airport while you jump in the car to go relax. We build your bike at the shop so it's ready for you to ride.
  • Guided rides with the staff, and sag wagon should you want or need to bail out early.
  • Full mechanical support - the only time you touch your bike is to ride it!
  • Special rate of $99 per night double occupancy at our preferred hotel partner, Campbell Inn.
  • All the nutritional products you need during your stay
  • Seminars and one-on-one consultation time with our staff.
  • The chance to demo some of the unique gear in our shop.
  • Time off in the afternoon and evenings to enjoy other Bay area attractions.

2008 Schedule

Interested in something that you don't see already on our calendar? We can put together a clinic series tailored for you and a few friends who may be training for a particular event or just want to focus on a specific skill. Reach us via the info on the Contact page to find out more.

LIVESTRONG Challenge Clinic Series

June 2008

We're stoked to support participants in the inaugural San Jose LIVESTRONG Challenge with a clinic series to help them learn the basics of cycling and have more fun while raising money for cancer research.

Clinic materials posted here in Powepoint.

Although the clinics are free you MUST register through your mylivestrong account - we limit the class size to ensure everyone a positive experience. Thanks for your help in this matter. We are happy to answer specific questions on the phone or via email so if you just need a helping hand with a few key things please don't hesitate to call us.

For those who will be joining us for one of the clinics, here are a few more details. The first hour will be classroom instruction, we will provide handouts that you can take notes on. If possible, please try to arrive in your riding clothes as we have only one bathrooom and if we have to wait while everyone cycles through to change clothes we will run late. The ride will head out towards Saratoga and Los Gatos, and cover part of the 65/100 mile route.

Things to bring:

  • Bike, ride clothes, water. We have energy drinks and gels for sale here if you need.
  • Your frame pump/CO2 cartridges, toolkit
  • Your helmet - these are absolutely REQUIRED, no exceptions. We have a selection of Bell helmets for sale but if for some reason we don't have the size or model you want, you'll be out of luck for the group ride.
  • Lots of questions!
